Jason’s story began on April 16, 1972. The oldest child and only son to Allen and Carol (Carlson) Stevens. Jason was the first grandchild born and was a very loved and special boy to his grandparents. He started helping Grandpa Ernie in the fields as early as 3 years old. He knew how to drive a tractor by the time he was 6. Aunt Sherrie and Kristie’s favorite memory is Jason loving Popeye and eating spinach right out of the can. Jason loved Star Wars, Legos, the Boston Celtics, going to the races with is Dad, and was the best big brother to his little sisters. Jason grew up and went to school in Centerville where he made many memories and lifelong friends. Jason married his best friend and the love of his life, Andrea Walz on June 15, 1996. Jason and Andrea enjoyed years of fishing, camping and always looking for adventure. He had a passion for cooking, had a soft place in his heart for animals, and most of all was a very loyal New England Patriots fan.
After high school, Jason joined the Air National Guard. MSGT Jason Stevens retired July 31, 2018 with 26 years of faithful military service. He continued to work as a federal employee.
