Final tribute will be paid tomorrow to Andy Balich, civic leader and owner of the Palomar hotel, who died Saturday. The last rites are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at the Wessendorf mortuary chapel, which friends are invited to attend. Private entombment will follow at the IOOF mausoleum. Dr. Heber St. Clair Mahood will conduct the services with officers of Santa Cruz lodge 824, Benevolent Protective Order of the Elks. Other organizations to be represented are Santa Cruz lodge 96, Independent Order of Odd Fellows: the Santa Cruz Rotary club, Fraternal Order of Eagles and Loyal Order of the Moose, to all of which Balich belonged. His survivors include his widow. Emily Balich of Santa Cruz; a brotner, Antone Balich, and sister, Lucy Kosavac, both of Watsonville.
