Laura Smith Summers, 96, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Laura was a longtime member of Falmouth Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Glenn R. Summers (Virginia); daughter Deborah Hawkins (Ray); five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sister Mary E. Staples; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph R. Summers.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. A service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27 at Falmouth Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
