In memory of Curtis "Wayne" Jacobs, 78, who died April 20, 1995 in West Jordan, Utah from injuries sustained in an auto pedestrian accident.
He was born July 6, 1916 in Colorado. He married Joy Ellis March 4, 1942. His relationship with Joy was loving, special and unique. He lived until his mid-life in Missouri, moving to Utah in 1962. He was loved and enjoyed by his family and many friends.
He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Patricia Wells; son, David (Maria) Jacobs; grandchildren, Curtis Lee Jacobs, Tara M. (Kelly) Durrant, Jason Matthew (Candice) Wells, Beckie L. Wells, Jeffery Andres Jacobs, Kristie Raquel Jacobs, Joe Graham; great-grandson, Jake Durrant; brother, Weldon Jacobs; sister, Eldene Rizzo. He will join his bride, Joy, son, Bernie Wayne Jacobs, who preceded him in death.
A short service will be held Monday, Arpil 24, 1995 at 2 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood road, where friends may call Sunday, 6-7 p.m. Interment and funeral directors, Redwood Memorial Estates.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Red Cross for the victims of the Oklahoma bombing.
