Annie was a daughter of William Fletcher Weir and Ellen Gray Johnson Weir. The family came by wagon from Texas to Monument New Mexico in 1906, where Annie's father purchased the historical Hat Ranch. According to folks I have spoken with who knew her, Annie was truly a fine person.
