Services will be today at 3:30 p.m. from Baldwin Chapel on Robinson Road with interment in the Lakewood Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mildred E. Chapman of Jackson; a son, James Edward Chapman of San Diego, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. O. C. Berry and Mrs. Grace Bennett, both of Jackson; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Chapman, a member of the Robinson Street Baptist Church, was retired from the U.S. government in the Department of the Interior.
