Henrietta Agnew Evans, of Hingham, passed away at Linden Ponds in Hingham on July 9, 2018, following a long illness.

She was the wife of the late Rev. Glyn Evans, and they pastored many churches throughout their lives, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Springfield, Ill., Hingham, North Kingstown, R.I., and many others. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2013, and is survived by her brother, William F. Agnew of Altadena, Calif.; her three children, William, James, Nancy and their spouses; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by family, friends at Linden Ponds where she lived for thirteen years, and her church family at South Shore Baptist Church in Hingham.

A memorial service will be held at South Shore Baptist Church, 578 Main Street, Hingham, on Friday, July 20, 2018, at 11 a.m. For additional information and online condolences, please visit www.downingchapel.com.
