Born January 26, 1902 in Beaver, Utah to Margaret Hannah Johnson and Richard Franklin Shumway. Married Dica Willis, July 13, 1922, divorced. Married Loretta Dillenbeck in 1974, deceased. He resided in Upland, Calif. for the past 23 years.
Survived by his sisters, Erma Cope, Provo; Verna Hinton, Hurricane; four sons and a daughter, Amos Floyd Shumway, Van Duren, Ark.; Daryl Shumway, Henrieville; Jean Barnhurst, Kanab; Willis J. Shumway, Huntington; Dick McKay Shumway, Salt Lake City; stepson, Robert Dillenbeck, Provo.
Graveside services will be held Friday, Nov. 30th, 2 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 So. Redwood Road, Salt Lake City.
