Roy Lee Elliott, Sr. age 85 born in Charleston, South Carolina. He was a veteran of the Korean conflict. He was survived by his wife, Tonia (Bartels) Elliott, father of Roy Lee Elliott, Jr. (Jim Michaels), Doug (Pam) Elliott, Kimberly (Phil) Compton, Denise Hoelle, Stacy (Jeremy) Lay. Survived by 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Also survived by his brother, James Elliott. Preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Debra (Oliver) Elliott, a brother, Billy Elliott and his first wife, Vesta Baker. Roy owned his own excavating company, Elliott Excavating. An avid fisherman, top notch mechanic and a great jigsaw puzzle worker. He attended the adult community day service. A visitation will take place at the Ogle and Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 5086 College Corner Pike, Oxford, Ohio 45056 on Friday, March 22, 2019, from 11 am until 1 pm. A Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm. Interment will follow at the Fairmount Cemetery in Camden, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City OK 73123.
