Melanie Abbott, 73, of Mills passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019.
She was born to Edgar and Elizabeth Johnson, April 14, 1945, in Denver, CO. She married Charles Abbott in August of 1964, in Thermopolis WY, where they resided before relocating to the Casper area in 1967.
Melanie is survived by her husband, Charles, two children: Edgar Abbott of Berea, KY and Donna Gabiana of Houston, TX. She is also survived by four grandchildren and her brother, Charles Johnson of Grass Valley, CA and her sister, Susan Johnson of Thermopolis, WY.
Melanie is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Elizabeth Johnson as well as several aunts and uncles.
A viewing will be held Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Newcomer Casper Chapel from 5-7 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. A mass will be held Friday, March 22, 2019 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Wyoming Memorial Cemetery.
