June Watson, 80, formerly of Dallas, passed away March 15, 2019 in College Station, Texas from complications of Alzheimer’s. A 6th generation Texan born in Brownwood, Texas on June 22, 1938 to William “Bill” and Eleanor Hampton Sherbet, she was raised in Dallas and graduated from North Dallas High School.
An excellent homemaker, she also worked the majority of her adult life as a secretary while residing in Dallas, Ft. Worth, Little Rock, AR, and Clearwater, FL before returning to Dallas in 1991. She and her husband, Steve, moved to College Station upon his retirement in 2011.
June was an active member in the churches she attended, singing in the choir for many years. She will be remembered for her deep love of family, quick sense of humor, wonderful meals and beautiful homes she created for her family and compassion for others, particularly children and animals in need.
Survived by her husband of 61 years, Steve Watson; daughters, Cheryl Page and Julie Clark; grand children, sister, Suzanne Robins, niece and nephew and other extended family members. Preceded in death by her parents and grand mother, Mary Martin Hampton.
A private memorial service will be held in Dallas with interment at Restland Memorial Park...RFH
