An excellent homemaker, she was an active member of the churches she attended and a dedicated community volunteer. Her compassion for children, young mothers, and animals was a driving force in her life, and she generously supported many organizations and charities with both her time and contributions. She returned to Texas in 2012 where she continued her volunteer work by becoming a Court Appointed Special Advocate with the CASA organization, advocating for children in the foster care system.
She is survived by her daughter Emily Page of New York City; her daughter Dana Page Lucio (Frank) of Austin, TX; her former husband Tom Page of Liberty, MO; her father Steve Watson of Bryan, TX; her sister Julie Clark (Dan) of College Station; and her nephews Randy Clark (Meagan) of Bryan, TX and Jay Clark (Riley) of College Station. She was preceded in death by her mother, June Sherbet Watson, and her beloved grandparents Bill & Eleanor Sherbet and Ernest & Frances Watson.
Her family will always remember her generous spirit, caring nature, friendly disposition, quick wit, and the beautiful homes she created. A private memorial service will be held in Dallas, with inurnment at Restland Memorial Park. A service for friends and extended family will be held at Liberty Christian Church on March 28, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to CASA of Travis County (www.casatravis.org).
