FARMINGTON – Faye D. Adams of Farmington passed away March 14, 2019 at her residence at the age 79. She was born September 2, 1939 in Michie, Tennessee to Kate (Baker) Jones Wardlow and the late J.W. Jones. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Minot.

Faye loved children and babysat in her home for many years. She was a dedicated member and past President of the Overland Neighborhood Watch Association for 31 years. She was the recipient of a Chief's Commendation Award from the Overland Police Department. Faye attended the Blessed Hope Baptist Church of Farmington and was a member of the United Fellowship Baptist Church of Bridgeton. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Faye is survived by her mother, Kate (Baker) Wardlow of St. Peters, her loving husband of 58 years, Oscar D. Adams, her sons, Steven Adams of Lakewood, CO and Gregory (and wife Susan) Adams of St. Louis, son in law, Kevin Minot of Tyrone, GA, grandchildren, Derek Adams, Ryan Adams, Mitchell Adams, Brady Adams, Delaney Adams, and Amelia Minot, a great grandchild, Annaleigh Adams, brothers, Wendell (and wife Carol) Jones of St. Peters and Donald (and wife Sandy) Jones of Valparaiso, IN, and many friends.

Friends may call on Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 5:00pm till 8:00pm at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Visitation will resume on Monday at 7:00am until time of service at 11:00am in the Cozean chapel. Interment to follow at 1:30pm at Mt. View Cemetery in Des Arc. Memorials, if desired, may be made to Blessed Hope Baptist Church, 1710 Doubet, Farmington, MO 63640 or United Fellowship Baptist Church, 3243 Fee Fee Road, Bridgeton, MO 63044.
