Our loving Angel mother, grandmother, great-grand-mother, sister and friend, Vida Asay Pitt, age 88, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2003 in Heber City surrounded by her family.

Vida was born October 17, 1915 in Lovell, Wyoming to Amos and Mary D. Asay. She was the second of seven children. Married Ernest Pitt, October 6, 1934 in Billings, Montana. He preceded her in death in 1992. She lived in Lovell and Thermopolis, Wyoming, Salt Lake City, and Heber City, Utah.

Vida was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many callings, some were: Chorister and pianist for both the Primary and Jr. Sunday school. She also worked in the MIA with the Beehive girls, and was a Home Extractor Worker for Genealogy. Her penmanship was beautiful and she was called to use it in many other church callings.

Our dear mother devoted her life to her family. We have all tasted the sweetness of her unconditional love in our lives.

Funeral Services were held on Saturday, October 25, 2003 - 11:00 a.m. in the Heber 12th Ward Church, 715 East 600 South, Heber City. Friends attended a Viewing on Friday from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the LDS Church and on Saturday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the LDS Church. Interment was in the Heber City Cemetery.
