Mary was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Elizabeth (Novey) Morgan, Patricia (Neal Travis) Cormier Shay and her daughter-in-law, Jackie Lebean Cormier; 5 grandchildren, John (Cindy) Cormier, III, Shalon (Steven) Batiste, Halle Cooper, Paul Cooper, and Cameron Shay; 8 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Cormier Sr.; her son, John (Itsy) Cormier, Jr.; her parents, Roy and Manday Mouton; 2 siblings, Florence St Julien and Roy Mouton, Jr.; brother- in -law, Evans St Julien; her grandson, Isaiah Morgan; her nieces, Connie St Julien and Monique Mouton and a host of many other family members. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Lafayette - Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 16,2019 at 12:00 p.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Mary Edlean Cormier, 78, who died March 13, 2019 in Lafayette, LA.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
