Prior to retirement, Seretha worked for Connor's Bros. in Blacks Harbour. Anyone who knew Seretha knew how much the Lord and her family meant to her. She was a great cook and always looked forward to her children and grandchildren stopping in for a visit and a hug. Active in her church, she was long time member of the Pentecostal Lighthouse Church in Blacks Harbour and served many years as a Sunday School Teacher. A kind, caring, generous and selfless soul, Seretha will be truly missed not only by her loving family, but by others in the community who were blessed to have known her.
Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Resting at the Pentecostal Lighthouse Church, Blacks Harbour NB with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The service will be held at the church on Wednesday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Donald McCarty officiating. The interment will take place in the St. George Rural Cemetery in the spring. In Seretha's memory, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
