Veanna (James) Talbot died May 29, 2018 at her home. She was born in Loris, SC; the daughter of the late Norman C. James and Cora (Todd) James. She was educated at Winthrop and Florida State Universities. She had worked as a journalist, practiced social work for many years in adoption related services, and in recent years was in personal property management. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Carey Talbot. Surviving are a son, Jonathan Bragg Talbot of Myrtle Beach, SC; a daughter, Juliann James Talbot (Derrick Rowland) of Myrtle Beach, SC; and a granddaughter, Crystal G. Combs of Knoxville, TN, and a grandson, Rondeau (Ronnie) R. Hall (Toelei’u). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM at The Chapel of The Messiah at Trinity Church. Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mercy Hospice of Horry County, P.O.
