Entered into eternal rest on March 4, 2019, at the age of 92. He was predeceased by his wife, Loretta, whom he married on August 22, 1953 in Holy Rosary Church, Rochester; grandson, Keith.

Michael is survived by his children, Michael Burke, Sandra Curtis, Sheila Dysart; grandchildren, Michael (Alea), Sarah (Edward), Daniel (Fernanda), Mark (Vanessa), Melissa, Jessica, Julie (Frank); 8 1/2 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Pat, Charlie, Yvonne, Roberta.

He was a proud World War II Navy Veteran, retired from DuPont after 37 years of service, former President of the Defenders Union, an active participant at Holy Rosary Church and Sacred Heart Cathedral and had the joy and privilege to go on Honor Flight Mission 38. The family would like to thank the staff at St. John's Home, South 6 and Lifetime Care for their care and compassion.

Friends may call on Friday, from 4 to 7 PM, at the Farrell-Ryan Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass on Saturday, at 9 AM, in the Sacred Heart Cathedral. Interment in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Honor Flight.
