Mary Francis Mitchell, 82, of Waco died Friday at a local nursing home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Louis Catholic Church, Monsignor Mark Deering officiating. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, with Connally Compton officiating.
Mrs. Mitchell was born Feb. 25, 1907, and lived in Waco most of her life.
She attended Sacred Heart Academy in Waco and St. Louis Catholic Church.
Her husband, Roderick Mitchell Sr., preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Roderick S. Mitchell Jr. of Beaumont; a daughter, Mary Jo Turner of Brrownwood; a brother Louis Wernet Sr. of West; two sisters, Josephine Mikeska of Longview and Catherine Morris of Los Angeles,
Calif.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
