Mrs. Boshie Aiken Beck , 88, of Lot 1, C & R Trailer Park, Creedmoor, died Friday, January 19, in her home.

Mrs. Beck was a native of Wake County and lived in Durham for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Aiken and widow of Joseph Thomas Beck . She was a retired cafeteria employee of the Durham City schools. She was a member of the Olive Grove Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 PM in the Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Tommy Robertson and Rev. Bill Lawrence will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Billy Fisher, Gerald 'Peanut' Lambert, Tommy Beck , Wayne Castle, Keith Castle and Truett Emory.

Surviving are 1 son, William David Beck of Creedmoor; 2 daughters, Christine B. Keith of Creedmoor and Joyce B. Whitt of Roxboro; 1 brother, E.F. (Bill) Aiken of Northside; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday night from 7 until 9 at Hudson Funeral Home and at other times at the home in Creedmoor.
