Mrs. Hart was born April 3, 1918 in Phelps, N.Y. the daughter of the late Elkannah and Ethel Viola Travis Young. She was a 1936 graduate from Phelps Union and Classical School. Mrs. Hart was a member of the United Church of Phelps, and Royal Garoga Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed gardening and loved her flowers. She also enjoyed sewing and crafts. She also played in the Phelps Croquet Club. Mrs. Hart loved nature, feeding and watching the birds were her favorite. Mrs. Hart was a very strong woman. She had been on Dialysis for 22 years setting an example to others that life can be lived to it's fullest while on Dialysis.

She is survived by her three daughters, 12 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren; three sisters, two brothers, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Hart who died in 1994, and her siblings Robert, Kenneth, Oscar, and George Young and Alice Schendel.
