HOUTZDALE - Mrs. Lillie Mae Jenkins, 95, of Houtzdale died yesterday morning, Nov. 6, in the Clearfield Hospital.
Mrs. Jenkins was born Jan. 7, 1879, at Coal Run, a daughter of John and Kathryn (Isenberg) Bateman.
She was a life-long resident of Houtzdale area and a member of the VFW and American Legion auxiliaries in Houtzdale.
Her husband, David, preceded her in death as did three sons, a daughter and a brother.
Mrs. Jenkins is survived by two sons, Gerald of Lock Haven and Boyd of Sandy Ridge, 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today and until time of services at 11 a.m. Saturday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home with the Rev. Morrison Rider officiating. Interment will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery at Brisbin.
VFW Auxiliary services will be held Friday at 7 p.m.
