Eleanor Many Horses, 70, Parma, Ohio, died July 23, 2000 in Rochester, Minn. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Veterans Memorial Building, Cannon Ball. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth's Cemetery, Cannon Ball.

A wake begins at 5 p.m. Friday and continues until time of services at the VM Building.

Eleanor was born Oct. 14, 1929 at Cannon Ball, to Alphonse and Alma (Red Ears) Bear Ghost. She was raised and educated in Cannon Ball and worked as a nurses' aid and homemaker. Since 1975, she has resided in Ohio.

She is survived by two daughters, Joan Peterson, Arna Wise, one son, Fred Clark, all of Cleveland; one sister, Elizabeth Brings Them, Fort Yates; a cousin, Alice Yellow Eyes; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers and one sister. (Perry Funeral Home, Mandan)
