Mr. Russell F. Sims age 93 of Henegar, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at DeKalb Regional Medical Center.

Funeral service is Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 1:00 pm from Kerby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Freeman and Rev. Clay Moreland officiating.
Burial will follow in Henagar Memorial Park.

Family will receive friends Monday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and
Tuesday from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm.

He is survived by:
Wife: Lovelda Sims
Son: David Michael Sims and wife Minnie
Brother: Boyd Sims and wife Alice
Sisters: Sibyl White, Lillian Cresswell and husband Wayne, and Maxelle Baldwin
Grandson: Taylor Sims

He is preceded in death by:
Parents: Chester and Minnie Sims
Sister: Gladys Paul
