ROGERSVILLE — Hubert Mitchell Bedingfield, 93, of Rogersville passed, away Saturday, February 23rd, 2019 at his residence. He was a graduate of Lauderdale County High School, a veteran of the Coast Guard during World War II and a graduate of Auburn University. He was a faithful member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he was an elder and choir member.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 28th, 2019 from noon - 2 p.m. at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Funeral service will follow with Pat Driskell and Craig Woodham officiating. Burial will be in Civitan Cemetery with military honors.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Bedingfield, Mitchell Bedingfield, Joshua Bedingfield, Patrick Lindsay, Charles Hardy and Jesse Thompson; honorary, Will Wallace and Craig Woodham.

Mr. Bedingfield was preceded in death by his parents, A.J. & Belle Bedingfield; wife, Lala Whitehead Bedingfield; siblings, Euell Bedingfield, Myrtle Birdwell, Brady Bedingfield, Clayton Richardson, Edna Taylor, John Bedingfield, Hollis Bedingfield, Louise Vaughn, Mary Bedingfield and Geneva Green.
He is survived by his children, Mickey (Betsy) Bedingfield, Jerry Bedingfield and Libby (George) Thompson; grandchildren, April (Craig) Woodham, Patrick (Stephanie) Lindsay, David Alberson, Brandon (Sarah) Bedingfield, Mitchell (Cyerra) Bedingfield, Joshua (Lindsay) Bedingfield, Jamie Bedingfield, Danielle (Will) Wallace, Jesse (Jessica) Thompson, Templeton (Sam) Gay and John (Jackie) Thompson; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Abby Woodham, Sara Grace Lindsay, Halle Alberson, Braydon Alexander, Elise and Layla Bedingfield, Harper Wallace, Colton Simpson, Cash, Oliver and Tripp Wallace, Liam, Caroline and Samuel Thompson; sister, Dorothy Jean (Delton) Newton.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
