Charlie was born March 10, 1935 in Dyer, AR to the late Charles, Sr. and Nanny (Weaver) Adkins.
He was a retired janitor for 76 Truck Stop and attended Northside Church of Christ.
Survivors include; his wife, Betty Adkins of the home; two daughters Mary (Jimmy Don) Flurry of Mountainburg, AR and Sherri (Mike) Tickler of Fort Smith, AR; two sons, Jerry (Sabrena) Shelton of Lamar, AR and David (Sherry) Shelton of Clarksville, AR; 2 brothers, Benny (Debbie) Adkins of Van Buren, AR and Eddie (Pam) Adkins of Natural Dam, AR; one sister, Margie (Harold) Johnson of Van Buren, AR and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services will be graveside at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
