ERIC 'SKITTLES' C. MEYER

Eric "Skittles" C. Meyer, 26, of Brownsville, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2003, at Froedert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Wauwatosa, as the result of an automobile accident.

He was born on June 15, 1977, in Fond du Lac, a son of Gerald R. and Cheryl L. Smith Meyer.

Eric graduated from Lomira High School in 1995 and then served in the United States Marines from 1995 until 1997 when he was honorably discharged as a disabled soldier.

He worked at Hayes crest Farms in Fond du Lac, as a herdsman or the past 11 years. He was a part-time employee while in school and a full-time employee after returning home from military service.

He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Lomira, and the Brownsville Sportsman's Club. He enjoyed deer hunting, race cars, shooting pool and Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

He is survived by his parents, Gerald and Cheryl Meyer of Brownsville, a brother, Brian of Brownsville, a sister, Tracy and her special friend, Tristan Kysely of Madison; a foster brother Robert Schultz of Brownsville; paternal grandparents, Roy and Elaine Meyer of Lomira; maternal grandfather, Floyd Smith of Lomira; aunts and uncles, Ron (Mary) Meyer of Plymouth, Barb (Bob) Breitag of West Bend, Joy (Ed Kikkert of Beaver Dam, Pam Smith of De Forest, and Tina (Jay) Rawlins of Lomira; his special friend Tish Gray of Fond du Lac; and many cousins.

His maternal grandmother Carol Smith, preceded him in death.

Services: The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 1, 2004, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 300 Church St., Lomira, with the Rev. Jane Haass and the Rev. Don Smith officiating. Inurnment will be at Ebenezer Cemetery.

Visitation: From 3 p.m. until the time of service on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2004, at the church.
