Mary Jane MAXWELL MCKINNEY
Mrs. M.J. MCKINNEY was born in Jackson County, Indiana, Nov. 12, 1850, came with her parents, John MAXWELL and wife to Missouri in 1869. Was married to T.C. MCKINNEY of Cassville, Mo., in 1872. To this union were born six children, five of whom survive her, one having died at the age of two years.
She came with her husband and family to Oklahoma nine years ago. Had been a resident of Shawnee four years. She had been a member of the Christian church a number of years. Was a devoted wife and mother. She was afflicted with paralysis for two years and passed peacefully away Dec. 29, 1912.
Dearest sister thou hast left us Here thy loss we deeply feel But 'tis God that hast bereft us He can all our sorrows heal. A Sister.
