Services for Edith Graham Batchelder Elliott are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at Eubank Funeral Chapel in Canton.

Edith died peacefully at her home on February 16, 2019, with family at her side.

She was born in Minnesota in 1924 to Chase and Edith “Poppy” Batchelder.

She made her home in Canton, Texas for the past sixty five years. She was a member of St. Justin’s Episcopal Church and the First Presbyterian Church.

She was predeceased by her husband, Clyde Elliott Jr., daughter, Christine Elliott Kvapil, great granddaughter, Samantha Fuller, great grandsons, Olin and Foster Wood, son-in-law, Stanley Williams, as well as her parents, her sister, Jane McReynolds and three brothers, Charles Batchelder, Albert Batchelder and Mark Batchelder.

Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Williams, sons and daughters-in-law, Chase and Nitsie Elliott, Frank and Lisa Elliott, Charley and Julie Elliott, and Eddie and Katrina Elliott. She is also survived by eight granddaughters and eight grandsons. Other survivors include seventeen great grandchildren, three brothers, six sisters-in-law and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

She lived a long, full life and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Interment will be at Creagleville Cemetery in Grand Saline, TX.

Family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
