Mr. Sheats was born in Rockledge, Florida and was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida.
Cliff was a wrestler, AKA: “Cliff Anderson”. He worked for Badcock for 24 years and was a process server. He was a great dad and papa and loved his grandkids. He had the Treasure Coast Wrestling Academy in Fort Pierce; where he taught many kids how to wrestle. He was also inducted to the Wrestler Hall of Fame.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Cara Sheats; daughters, Cayla Sheats, Cortney (Adam Holton) Sheats, and Cassey Sheats; son, Rocky Sheats all of Fort Pierce, FL; sisters, Clarice Simmons, Madeline McCammon, Faye Hall, Dawn Garland, and Laurie Rabah; brothers, Kenneth, Daniel, William, and Richard Sheats and Gene Nixon; grandchildren, Savannah Golden, Sheyanne Golden, Conner Holton, Paisley Ashburn; furry companions, Dixie and Destiny Sheats; and special family, Peggy Davis, Vernon Davis, Terry Davis, John Davis and Billy Davis.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Celsey Sheats and parents, Richard and Fannie Sheats.
Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019, from 12:00pm-2:00 pm with a service at 2:00 pm at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
