Barbara Anne Ainsworth was born on March 8, 1936 in Hearne, Texas to George and Annie Williams Horan.

She passed away with family by her side on Friday, February 15, 2019 in Bryan, Texas at the age of 82 years.

Barbara married Gerald Ainsworth on October 22, 2008. She loved spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She also loved to cook, travel and explore genealogy of herself and family in her spare time.

She was involved working with the Dispute Resolution Center for many years. She served as past worthy matron and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #311. Barbara was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the First Baptist Church, New Baden. She had been a resident of Franklin for the past 10 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Annie Horan; son, Alfred (Buddy) Gene Loper; and her daughter, Laurie Paire.

She is survived by husband, Gerald Ainsworth of Franklin; daughter, Debra Chappell of Rockdale; 2 step-daughters, Belinda Ainsworth of Bryan and Karen Gossett and husband, Patrick of Madisonville; 3 step-sons, Jerry Ainsworth of Franklin, Danny Ainsworth of Franklin and Johnny Ainsworth and wife, Lori of Hutto; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Services will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church, New Baden, Texas. Burial will follow in the Camp Creek Cemetery.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin.
