Charles Marvin Mears, 60

Mr. Charles Marvin (Charlie) Mears officiating age 60 of McMinnville, TN, died Saturday, February 16, 2019 at his residence.

He was born June 25, 1958, in McMinnville, TN, was a former employee of Carrier, an member of the Church of Christ at Unity.

Mr. Mears was preceded in death by parents Jeff and Ollie Pauline (Durham) Mears sisters Edna Young, Anita Reed, and Margaret Tramel, brothers Thomas Mears and Aubrey Lee Mears, half sister Daisey Bailey, half brothers Carmon Mears and James Mears.

Survivors include his siblings Myrtle Cox, Roberta Collins, Maggie Lance, John (Valerie) Mears, James (Faye) Mears, Joyce Davis, George Mears, Treva (Paul) Hutchins, and Laura Davis, a son Justin Smith, other family members and friends.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P. M. Thursday, February 21, 2019, at McMinnville Funeral Home. Bro. Harold Cook and Bro. Chris Mears officiating. Interment will follow at Unity Cemetery. The Mears family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 A. M. until 1:00 P. M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
