PEGGY JEANNE (HOOPER) CROSBY-AHERN Entered May 28, 2007 into eternal rest with the Savior she had known since her 15th Valentine's Day. She believed what Jesus said in John 14 "I go to prepare a place for you that where I am, you may be also." Peggy grew up in Oakland, California and was the daughter of Att & Dorothy Hooper. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Steve and Scott Crosby. She leaves behind her husband, Richard Ahern. Grandson, David Crosby, his wife Fawn and 2 great-grandchildren, Erin and Scotty of Manassas, Virginia, Corinne Crosby, her sister Molly and parents Donna and Joe Matthew from Tracy, California. Stepdaughter, Simone Weiss, her husband, Michael and 2 step-granddaughters, Jennifer, Jessica and Meagan. A sister and brother-in-law, Darlene & Patrick Moore of Oregan and many nieces and nephews in Oregon. She was a member of Bridges Community for the last 28 years and was involved in several ministries there. She was retired from Flemming Foods Company. She chose to live her life with love, patience and kindness, she had a peaceful, gentle spirit and was full of joy. When she failed, she sought God's grace and started over. Bedside's that, she loved a good party. In her recreational time, she enjoyed history, genealogy, writing, gardening, reading spending time with her grandchildren. We prefer that you remember her with a good deed fro someone who needs encouragement or help. A Graveside Ceremony in planned for Friday, June 1, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Fremont. Arrangements by Lima Family-Milpitas-Fremont Mortuary.
