Joy Banks Combs, 69 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Combs was born in Carroll County to the late Lawrence Jefferson & Nancy Arizona Banks. She is survived by her husband, Billy Combs of the home.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. David Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Heath Banks Cemetery.
