LANCASTER - Larry Eugene Hoover, 72, passed away at his residence in Lancaster, Texas on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019.

Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Monday in Mount Olivet Chapel.
Visitation: All day Sunday at Mount Olivet. The family will be attending from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Larry was born on Nov. 9, 1946 in Fort Worth, Texas. On June 25, 1966, he married his loving wife, Carol Ann in Abilene, Texas. Larry is remembered for his love of family and NASCAR. After graduating from Poly Tech in Fort Worth, he joined the U.S. Navy and spent four years in Beeville, Texas and on the aircraft carrier Coral Sea off Vietnam. He returned to live in Sweetwater, Texas and Lancaster, Texas, where he drove over the road for major truck lines for more than 30 years.

He is preceded in death by his devoted parents, Herbert and Willa Dean (Billie) Hoover.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Carol Ann
