William Avery Addy
Funeral services were held for William Avery Addy Monday, November 23 from Mt. Zion Methodist Church. Rev. Gus Merrett and Rev. Ray Bates officiated at the 2 p.m. service with interment in the church cemetery.
Addy, age 83, of Decatur, Ms., died November 20 at Rush Hospital, Meridian. He was a member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mable Addy; 4 sons, William Addy Jr. of Big Springs, Texas, Bobby, Larry and Jimmy Addy all of Decatur, Ms.; 1 daughter, Ms. Brenda Addy of Decatur; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Stephens Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
