GRANVILLE — Cindy M. Hartman, 58, of Granville passed away Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019, at home.

Services will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, with a 5 p.m. service, in the United Church of Christ in Granville. In lieu in flowers, please make donations to the family for charitable distribution.

GRANVILLE — Cindy M. Hartman, 59, of Granville passed away Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019, in her home.

Cindy was born Jan. 17, 1960, in Burlington, Wis., to Gene and Harriett (Bigley) Davis. She married Kerry Hartman July 31, 1993, at the United Church of Christ in Granville.

Cindy was employed by HyVee in Peru, where she enjoyed her job and co-workers and customers. She also managed Hardees in Spring Valley, and she also managed Dollar General stores in the local area for many years. Cindy and Kerry owned and operated Blue Lake Resort in Okaboji, Iowa, for three years.

Cindy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. Her favorite holiday was opening day of duck season with her family and Labs.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Kerry; her mother, Harriett Davis of Burlington, Wis.; two children, Ryan (Connie) Hartman of Granville and Dane (Shelly) Hartman of Rossville; one sister, Linda Kryzaniak of Plymouth, Minn.; four brothers, Gene (Sheila) Davis of Silver Lake, Minn., Wayne Davis of Milwaukee, Wis., Ricky Davis of Whitewater, Wis., and Rod (Linda) Davis of Kenosha, Wis,; three grandchildren, Owen Hartman, Albie Hartman and Taya Hartman; her brothers- and sisters-in-law, Perry and Kathy Hartman Ill of Wilton, Iowa, Harold and Sharon Hartman of Surprise, Ariz., Jim and Amy Hartman of Granville, and Mary and Bob Hanck of Spring Valley; and nices, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Cindy was preceded in death by her, father Gene Davis; a brother-in-law, Larry Kryzaniak; and her in-laws, Dr Perry and Elizabeth “Betty” Hartman, and Jack Zenor.

Funeral services will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, in the United Church of Christ in Granville with Pastor Ron McNeil officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service, from 2 to 5 p.m., in the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for donations to the Putnam County Ambulance Service and St. Jude.

The Helmer-Shields Funeral Home in Granville is assisting the family with arrangements.
