Wesley Wooldridge, 71, of Route 1, died at 9:20 p.m. Thursday, January 6, 1994 in the Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, Texas, following an illness of 10 days. Mr. Wooldridge was born on May 1, 1922, in Hardin County, KY. His marriage was to Betty Kiser on February 18, 1948 in Buffalo, and she survives. He graduated from Monticello High School and was a retired White County farmer.

A resident of White County since 1949, he was a Navy aviation mechanic during World War II. Mr. Wooldridge attended the Monon First Baptist Church, and was a member of the former Monon Masonic Lodge. He also was a member of the Monon American Legion Post, and had been a board member of the White County FHA and ASCS.

Also surviving are two daughters; one son; three brothers; and two sisters. He was preceded in death by a son; one brother; and one sister.

Friend may call from 5-9 PM on Tuesday at Kellogg Funeral Home, Monon. Service there at 11 AM on Wednesday with Rev. John Hall and Rev. James Copeland officiating. Interment at IOOF Riverview Cemetery.
