BARHAMSVILLE - Mrs. Annie Mae Swain Sanderson, 68, died Sunday afternoon in a Williamsburg hospital.
A native of Newport, N.C., she lived here two years and formerly in Virginia Beach.
She was the widow of William H. Sanderson and a daughter of John and Mrs. Sarah Ambrose Swain.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. S. W. Kight of Chesapeake; three granddaughters, Mrs. Nadine Kurek of Barhamsville, Mrs. Rhonda Gale and Mrs. Lisa Butler of Norfolk; a grandson, J. W. Butler of Norfolk; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside, Virginia Beach. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park.
