Ben Edward Thompson age 82 of Ider died Saturday, February 9 at Collinsville Health Care.Funeral services are Monday at 2 pm ct at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Elder Rickey Deal officiating. Burial will follow in Fuller Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11 am until time of the service.
Survivors include daughter, Elaine Thompson, sister, Betty Floyd, brother, Arthur Thompson, special friend, Juanita Hairston.
Mr. Thompson was a Vietnam Veteran and retired from the US Air Force after 40 years of service. He was preceded in death by parents, Alvin and Mae Reba Lynn Thompson and wife, Barbara Thompson.
