Louisa Balbac was born in 1867, daughter of Conradus "Conrad" Balbac [Balbach] and Elizabeth Menzemer-Balbac. Grand-daughter of Joannis Georgii-Balbach & Catharina Trebel-Balbach, and Jacob George Menzemer & Catharina Kleinle-Menzemer.

In 1887, Louisa married Lincoln Henry Breed, and they had two children: Ralph Liberton Breed... and Rachel Breed-Wacker.
