CALDER, Audrey Aileen March 11, 1923 - January 16, 2017 Mom passed away peacefully at the Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton, in her 94th year. Cherished and loving wife of 66 years to the late J.B. Calder, her beloved Johnnie B. Loving mother, gramma and great-gramma to, Marilyn (Bruce), Allan (Debbie), Robert (Erin), Jennifer (Steven) and Lukas. Mom was born and raised in Alberton, Ontario, and was a farm woman all of her life. Predeceased by her parents Roy and Ruby Brown and brothers Murray and Clifford Brown. She and John married in 1946, and settled in Carluke, where she has lived and farmed for over 70 years. Audrey was a life member of the Carluke Women's Institute, Ancaster Agricultural Society, a natural historian and an active member in community life in past years. She touched many lives throughout her lifetime, both young and old alike and she will be fondly remembered by her long time neighbours, friends and family. A special thank you to F3 Medical Staff for their care and support over the last 5 weeks. A life well lived and a woman much loved. Visitation will take place in the Miller Funeral Chapel , Caledonia on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. followed by the service in the chapel on Saturday, January 21 at 11 a.m. Interment in White Brick Cemetery, Carluke. If so desired, donations to St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Carluke, would be appreciated by the family.
