James R. Flanigan, 74, passed away with family by his side on Saturday, February 2, 2019. He was born in Oshkosh on August 26, 1944, to the late Archie and Minnie (Gerrits) Flanigan. Jim graduated from Winneconne High School. Jim married Teresa “Teri” Neuman on July 9, 1966, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Winneconne. He worked for Hart Design and Manufacturing for 39 years as a shop foreman. In his earlier years, he spent his free time playing in a band, playing old rock and country music. Jim and Teri loved to travel and went on many trips together, from Jamaica to the Rocky Mountains and everywhere in between. Jim greatly enjoyed fishing, and when he could no longer do that, he filled up his time completing crossword puzzles and watching baseball.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Teri; two children, Brian (Holly) Flanigan, and their children, Katie (John), Scott, and Lydia; Brenda (Jimmy) Corbett, and their children, Emma and Gracie; sister, Kathy Noffke. Jim is further survived by Teri’s extended family, along with many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Friends may gather at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St, on Friday, February 8, 2019, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Memorial Service will be at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the St. Thomas-Poygan Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.prokowall.com.

Jim’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the First Responders and to Bellin Hospital for the care they have given to Jim and his family.
