Efrain Sosa, age 65, went to be with the Lord on December 15, 1991. Born June 17, 1926 in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, to Mariano and Prudencia Sosa. He married Martha Flores August 2, 1952. He retired from Kennecott Copper Corp. after 34 years of service in 1980. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, his keen sense of humor will be missed by all. "Dad we love you, and miss you."
He is survived by his wife; five sons, Ephraim Sosa, Jr.; Joseph Sosa; Alexander Sosa; Edward Sosa; and Daniel Sosa; four daughters, Pauline Lopez; Victoria Montoya; Patricia Lobato; Mary Lopez, all of Salt Lake; five brothers, William, Ramon, Irene, Ruben, Abraham; one sister, Oselia, all residents of Puerto Rico; 32 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. Preceded in death by his son, Robert W. Sosa.
Services will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 So. Redwood Road; friends may call Tuesday evening 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
