"It looks like the remains were disinterred and reburied nearby, and plot resold. I have checked our records and it does show that Hannah was disinterred under license but that is where I hit a wall.
Usually the original plot number is rewritten on the map to indicate the final resting place which is often behind the grave they were disinterred from, this is known as common ground.
It appears to me that this is the case with Hannah but whoever was looking after the mapping/records back then forgot to write the number on the map.
I obviously can't be 100% sure of this but I do know that this was typical that this happened and where possible the deceased was kept in the same area or very close to.
There are cases where the family took the remains away and relocated elsewhere but there is no indication of that happening in this case.
