Mary L. Tyson Is Dead at 73; Service Sunday

Mrs. Mary Lee Tyson, 73, of 536 SW 43, a pioneer Oklahoman resident, died Thursday in her home. Services will be at 2 pm Sunday in Merritt funeral home with burial in Bethany Cemetery,

Born in Kentucky she moved to Eldorado, Texas in 1894 and to Anadarko in 1900. She had lived in Oklahoma City since 1927. She and her husband, J. A. Tyson, of the home, celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary December 12, 1957.

Survivors, other than her husband, are, four sons, W.R. Wyatt, of the city, Capt, Newby C. Tyson, Sacramento, Calif., James F. Tyson, San Antonio Texas, and S-Sgt. Thomas C. Tyson, station in Tokyo.

She is also survived by eight daughters, Mrs. Eula Stinchcomb, Mrs. Ivie Stinchcomb, Mrs. Elizabeth Towe, all of Yukon, Mrs. Eunice Stinchcomb 7127 NW 32, Mrs. Mildred Boyd 1416 SW 15 place, Mrs. Myrtle Rice, 301 SW 55 Mrs. Ptricia James,3424 NW 52, ad Mrs.Jean Anderson, of Yukon; two brothers, Carl Hays, Dallas, Texas and W B., of Sulphur,19 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
