Death of Two Prominent Citizens--In the Churches.
Thomas H. Richardson died last night at 10 o'clock at his residence, corner of Swan and James streets. Mr. Richardson had been confined to the house six months, having a severe attack of heart trouble and later it became complicated with kidney trouble and several minor diseases. Mr. Richardson had always been a prominent citizen, taking an active part in the town government. He had acted as village president, had been assessor of the old town of Watervliet and a member of the Republican county committee. Up to his illness he had been connected with the surrogate office as record clerk. He had lived about 42 years in Green Island and was a devoted member of St. Mark's Episcopal church. He leaves a wife, two sons, Merwyn [sic], a resident of Troy, and Thomas H., jr. of Green Island and a daughter, Mrs. Harriet Bowman. The funeral will take place Monday afternoon at the residence, Rev. R. T. Trego officiating.
