Robert 'Ray' Webb, 82, retired Colonel of the US Army Reserve, was welcomed into the loving arms of his Savior on May 31, 2007. He was born May 26, 1925 in Wetumka, OK to Charles and Rosa (Rosenbaum) Webb.
Ray retired as a Principal of several different schools in the Oklahoma City Public School System. His passion was golf. He loved chocolate and Eskimo Pies and most enjoyed the time he spent with his loving family. Ray was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Patricia 'Pat' Webb on Sept. 21, 2005, 1 sister, and 4 brothers.
Ray leaves cherished memories with his son, Tim Webb and wife Angelia; daughters, Pam Burks and husband Wyatt, and Marguerite MacMillan and husband Mark; 8 grandchildren, Jenny Clark, Jessica Burks-Barton, Aaron Burks, Makenzie MacMillan, Madison MacMillan, Melissa Hunter, Emma-Kate Webb and Jackson Sharp; 2 great-granddaughters, Chloe and Audrey Clark; sister, Lucille Campbell; 4 nieces; and 2 sisters-in-law.
Services to celebrate his life will be 2:00 PM Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Vondel Smith South Lake Chapel with interment to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
