Booneville-Ruby Pannell Bennett, 80, died Friday February 1, 2019 at her home after a short illness. Ruby enjoyed gardening, flowers, trips to Tunica, watching deer and rabbit in her back yard, watching QVC on television. She loved oriental décor, hummingbirds and spending time with family, grandkids and great grandkids. She was a retired factory worker and a Baptist.
Services will be Monday at 4 pm at Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Casteel officiating. Burial will be in the Pauls Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Verna Hampton & Johnny of Blue Springs and Kathie Lopez & Bob of Blackland; 2 sisters, Betty Duncan of Dry Creek and Mary Kennedy of New Site; 17 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren; her puppy, Sammy.
She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Ray Allen Stewart and David Stewart; her husband Floyd Bennett; 1 sister Dell Ferris; 2 brothers, Larry Pannell and Benny Pannell and 1 infant great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Campbell, Ben Bolen, Stephen Tracey, William “Pete” Sprouse, Bobby McCaine and Garrett Ritchey.
Visitation will be Monday from 2 pm until service time.
