Bobby Ray Sullivan, 75, of Cherokee, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 3, at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Randall Michael officiating. Burial will be at Barton Cemetery.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Varnie and Lilly Mae Sullivan and 7 siblings. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Bobby was an avid Alabama fan and enjoyed his classic country music record collection and 2 classic cars.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Geraldine Sullivan; sons, Robert Sullivan (Rhonda) and Jerry Sullivan (Selena); daughters, Teresa Cornelius, Pam Smith (Howard), Tonya Sullivan, and Joni Askew; brothers, William Sullivan (Joyce) and Kenneth Sullivan; sisters, Jewel Turberville; 17 grandchildren, Dustin, Damian, and Raybon Cornelius, Tanner and Nikki Giba, Maggie Lynn McWilliams, Aaron and Rachel Sullivan, Denim and Taylor Smith, Holly and Kelly Sullivan, Madison and Garrett Askew, and Tia, Eli, and Kai Sibley; 6 great-grandchildren; special sons-in-law, Jason Askew and Leslie Cornelius; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
